Terms of service

Plain English, on purpose. Last updated: July 20, 2026.

What we do

namedry.com publishes a curated, scored list of domain names that are expiring or have recently dropped, based on registry data. We don't register or sell domains ourselves (aside from the house shelf, which is marked as such) — we tell you what's available and let you register it wherever you like.

Availability isn't a guarantee

Domain availability is registry data, and registries can change it at any moment — a name that shows as available can be registered by someone else between the time we check and the time you click through. We do our best to keep the list accurate, but we can't guarantee any listed name is still registerable when you get there.

Scores and signals are opinions

Brandability scores, tags, and any other signals we attach to a name are our own opinionated read on it — not a promise of value, trademark clearance, SEO potential, or resale price. Do your own diligence before you buy, register, or build on a domain.

Subscriptions

Alerts and Hunter are month-to-month subscriptions billed through Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record — they are the seller on your statement. You can cancel any time from the Polar customer portal — no need to email us to cancel, and no retention maze. Cancel and you keep access through the period you already paid for.

The obvious stuff

Don't abuse the service (scraping the paid list to redistribute it, hammering the API outside documented limits, that sort of thing). We can suspend accounts that do. We may update these terms as the product changes — if we make a material change, we'll post the new date here. Continuing to use namedry.com after that means you're fine with the update.
